I felt ugly and undesireble most of my life deep down for the way I was treated and what social norms for conventional stadards of beauty was. Being Non-Binary and Transgender made that even more complicated. But, I think most people can realte to feeling ugly at times. So, why not give space for all of our experiences instead of just compartmentalizing? Honesty in our expereinces brings us closer to our humanity. Unfortunately, that fact that there are standards is unrecognizably horrific.
